Talk about big investments. Adrian makes them everyday, and has been since he was an INROADS Intern at Deutsche Bank in Mexico City. If fact, as an Intern, he was part of a six-member investment banking team, handling transactions of 100 million dollars at a time. Adrian graduated, and accepted a full-time offer with the bank and has been with them a total of four years now. His supervisor in Mexico City is still amazed at how quickly he was able to understand and integrate into the program.

"Adrian came in without knowing much about the banking industry or the business, and in an amazingly short time span, he's grasped the process," says Mauricio del-Valle. Del-Valle heads the investment banking team and watched Adrian rotate through other positions before joining his group. "He never complained, always worked extra hours and is completely involved in what the team does. I didn't think of him as an Intern."

Adrian applied to INROADS after talking with his academic advisor. He had a 3.85 grade point average and actively worked to end the social and economic struggles in his community. "The situation in Mexico is bad. A lot of young people finish University and can't get a job. It's difficult when you don't have experience. Many of my friends from University are looking for an opportunity now."

Adrian believes that INROADS helped him escape that fate. "The experience I learned at INROADS got me where I am today. I have a job that I love, I'm able to support my family, and I'm learning new things everyday."

Progressing steadily, Adrian has already been promoted since he joined Deutsche Bank full time. "I have had great opportunity to advance,” he says upon accepting a new position with Deutsche Bank in New York City, and completing rigorous training in London, “I’m proud of what I’ve done so far, and I really look forward to going farther in the near future."
