 A willingness to learn and grow has assisted Joyia in the transition from college to the workplace.  

Joyia, a recent alumnae and graduate of The University of North Texas, is excited about the opportunity to utilize the skills, knowledge and experience she has gained over the last few years as an INROADS intern.  “I love INROADS, I never would have had an opportunity to become the professional I am today without the assistance of INROADS,” says Joyia.

When asked about the challenges she faced as an intern and how those obstacles would help her succeed, Julia replied, “I overcame these challenges by keeping constant communication with INROADS through my regional office, keeping an open mind to change and staying positive throughout the process.” Joyia has learned first-hand the importance of communication and embracing change, as she recognizes these will be building blocks for success.

Over the next few years, Joyia looks forward to new projects, meeting new people and build new experiences. 

For Joyia, the best is yet to come and this is the start of something new, thanks to INROADS and a committed group of people who gave her an opportunity to be the best she could be.
