ATLANTA, GA (August 24, 2022) — INROADS brought together hundreds of college interns from across the country in an innovative and immersive 3-day virtual leadership development experience during its 2022 National Conference held July 28 – July 30. The conference was headlined by keynote speaker and INROADS alumnus John James from Microsoft and featured prominent INROADS alumni, corporate leaders, and volunteers.
Through its Internship Program, INROADS connects diverse and talented college students with paid summer internship opportunities at top employers, while also providing leadership development and career training. The INROADS National Conference is a signature component of the Internship Program and is designed to unlock the full leadership potential of students.
During the conference, students experienced leadership development workshops, networking opportunities, and gained knowledge and inspiration from corporate leaders and INROADS alumni. Students learned best practices for their career journey and practical tips on how to step up as leaders on campus and eventually in their careers. This year, a new 3D virtual platform was used to create an engaging experience for students, integrating interactive sessions, virtual photobooths, a virtual exhibit hall, gamification, live networking, and more.

The Conference is hosted exclusively for INROADS interns and is a benefit of participation in the INROADS Internship Program. INROADS remains the destination for creating pathways to careers for diverse leaders.
