Yvette Smith is the corporate vice president of Microsoft’s WW Support & Customer Success Programs group within Customer Experience & Success.
In this role she manages the global P&L for worldwide support business, representing nearly $4B USD in revenue and operating in 100+ countries with 13,000+ customers. Yvette’s role includes leading the design and delivery of offerings and programs that enable the field to support customer health and drive consumption. Her team focuses on quality and technical connectivity across the ecosystem to ensure customers receive exceptional support with speed, efficiency, and innovation, helping to deliver a connected customer experience.
Previously, Yvette was the general manager of Global Customer Support and Services for the Cloud+AI business. In this role, she led a worldwide team of 4,000+ technical professionals who provided technical support and services and transformed the support experience. Prior to this, she had significant leadership positions at Xerox and IBM.
Over the past thirty years, Yvette has led a variety of IT services businesses and has specialized in developing and selling complex international enterprise solutions for her clients and developing the delivery infrastructure to support these solutions. Her experience spans multiple industries including financial services, media and entertainment, retail banking, retail distribution and wholesale distribution.
Yvette graduated from Emory University, with a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in International Business. She received her Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology with a certificate in French. She is a certified Systems Management consultant and has been recognized many times for her contributions to Xerox, IBM and her clients.
She is passionate about women and children’s health and gives back to the community in many ways including as a member of the Board of the Georgia Tech Women’s Alumni Network and as an Ambassador for the Grady Health Foundation. She is on the National Board of Directors for INROADS and the Advisory Board for the ISyE Department at Georgia Tech.
Yvette lives in the Seattle area with her husband, who holds everything together, and has four children, two in college and two daughters in the work world.
