Oliver-LyndonLyndon Oliver was named chief financial officer (CFO) for MetLife’s operations in Europe and India in July 2011. In addition, Oliver is responsible for expense management across International Business. Most recently, Oliver served as CFO for the Japan region.

Prior to the acquisition by MetLife in November 2010, Oliver was the CFO of AIG Life Companies, Japan and Korea.

Oliver also spent more than 10 years, and held a number of executive and managerial positions in The Hartford Group of Companies, most recently as senior vice president, chief product and strategic research officer. Previous roles include more than 10 years at the ING Group of Companies in various financial management roles.

Oliver is a graduate of the University of Alabama, where he completed his MBA and majored in accounting.
