With more than 33 years of corporate and community experience, Forest is a proven leader dedicated to community health advocacy, leadership and talent pipeline development, and organizational outreach.
Prior to joining INROADS, Forest spent 28 years at Pfizer. He began his career at Pfizer as a sales representative eventually holding numerous leadership positions from Vice-Presidential positions in sales to his last role where he led Capability Development in Worldwide Public Affairs & Policy. Throughout his career, he successfully designed and implemented new sales product and account strategies, led a number of major organizational initiatives, and achieved substantial business results. Harper was also instrumental in spearheading community-based initiatives targeted to underinsured populations and was the architect of multiple public/private partnerships and alliances involved in over 25,000 community-based organizations, including the Pfizer Share Card and Community Health Advocacy.
In addition to his leadership roles at Pfizer, Harper served as the first President of the Pfizer African-American Leadership Network (PAALN) and a member of Pfizer’s Global Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Committee. He was also a pioneer in creating and launching undergraduate internship programs with schools such as Florida A&M University’s School of Business and Industry and Morgan State University’s C.A.P (Corporate Alliance Program) at the Earl Graves School of Business, his alma mater.
Forest began his career with Pfizer after serving for six years in the United States Army, 82nd Airborne Division, achieving the rank of Captain. He is a member of the Executive Leadership Council (ELC), an independent, non-profit corporation of senior African-American executives at Fortune 500 companies, as well as, the National Society of Pershing Rifles Alumni Association (NSPRAA). His leadership bandwidth spans from former Secretary and member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees for the National Arthritis Foundation to Board of Directors member for the National Council for the Aging (NCOA).
Harper holds a B.A. in Social Work from Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD and attended an Executive Leadership Training at Harvard Business School in Boston, MA. A native of Fort Pierce, Florida, he and his family currently reside in Atlanta, Georgia.
Harland R. Abraham, is the Chief Business Development Officer for INROADS, Inc. Mr. Abraham rejoined INROADS as the Vice President of Strategic Account Management and Business Development in early 2015 after 13 years at Northern Trust where his last position was Vice President in the Public and Taft-Hartley Funds Division for The Northern Trust Company in Washington, DC. In this role, Mr. Abraham was the lead Client Executive on select Northern Trust institutional clients in the Public Funds and Taft-Hartley Division.
Mr. Abraham began his professional career as in INROADS Engineering Intern for Reliance Electric Company in Cleveland, OH in 1981. He later moved to Fort Wayne, IN with the General Electric Company’s Motor Business Group as an engineer in technical sales and marketing. He later joined IBM Corporation as a Marketing Representative and Client Executive in Cleveland, OH. He also worked at Johnson & Johnson’s Ethicon Endo Surgery Company as a Medical Sales Representative in New York City and at Silicon Graphics as a Channel Partner Manager in Chicago, IL.
Mr. Abraham began his career at INROADS at INROADS/New York City, Inc. in 1994 as a Manager before being promoted to Managing Director of INROADS/Chicago, Inc. in 1996. He also served on the INROADS, Inc. University Relations Committee, facilitated Consultative Selling training for all INROADS staff from 1995 – 2000, was a National Account Consultant and was the first Director of Client Relationship Management. He is an INROADS alumnus and served in multiple leadership roles in his alumni chapter in Northeast Ohio and in the National INROADS Alumni Association (N.I.A.A.), ending as the Chair in 2001. Mr. Abraham is member of both the N.I.A.A. and INROADS/Northeast Ohio, Inc. Hall of Fame.
Mr. Abraham earned his Bachelor’s of Electrical Engineering degree from Cleveland State University’s Fenn College of Engineering along with Minors in Physics and Mathematics in 1986 and a Certificate in Business Administration with a concentration in Not-for-Profit Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago’s College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs in 1998. Mr. Abraham also earned a US Patent in 2014 for engineering design work provided on a medical device he helped invent with a doctor and a nurse.
Mr. Abraham is the Board Chairman of The Coalition for Higher Learning, Inc., and former Member of the INROADS Mid-Atlantic Region and INROADS National Boards of Directors. He is the Treasurer of the Trustee Ministry Board at his church. He is a graduate of the United Way Services of Greater Cleveland’s Leadership Development Program, 1993 and the United Way Services of New York City’s Linkages Board Training Program, 1995. He is also a past board member of Lakeside Family & Children’s Services, a $20 Million agency providing foster care and elder care to New York City residents and former outside Board Director for Ganton Technologies, Inc., a former $250 Million, privately held, aluminum, zinc and magnesium die casting company.
Mr. Abraham and his wife, Lisa, live in Columbia, Maryland with their two sons Brandon, and Jordan.
As an INROADS Alumnus, Lee is very familiar with the INROADS leadership development and training process having interned with The Kroger Company for four years and then being recruited by Kroger where he served as a store manager for more than 8 years. Lee went on to join the INROADS staff in 2000 as a Local Client and Intern Relationship Manager. Since then, he has held several positions within INROADS including, Project Manager, National Director of Recruitment and Administrative Services and Vice President of Operations for the East Territory including Canada.
Lee has been a board member for the Nashville Adolescent Pregnancy and Prevention Council and served on the Board of Trustees and currently serves on the Staff Pastor – Parish Relations Committee for Clark Memorial United Methodist Church. A former advisor on the Dean’s Council at Belmont University and he has volunteered with government programs such as Teen-cathalon that works with underprivileged communities. Andre serves on the Alumni Advisory Board for Tennessee State University College of Business, Advisory Board for Fisk University’s leadership program “EXCEL” and is a member of the National Association of Black Accountants. In 1991, Mr. Lee developed a scholarship campaign that has generated over $500,000 to date for students in Tennessee State University’s College of Business called “The Wall of Excellence.” Lastly, Lee served as an AAU assistant coach for girls’ basketball.
Andre holds a Bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University. He lives in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife, Althea, and two daughters, Dominique and Sydney. When asked how he’s doing, Lee simply responds by saying, “I’m enjoying every minute of it.”
David Nunn, a veteran of INROADS is responsible for the strategic direction and management of the information technology resources of the organization.
A 1987 graduate of the University of Illinois, Mr. Nunn holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering where his emphasis was in Computational Structural Analysis. Additionally, Mr. Nunn also holds a Masters Degree in Information Technology Management from Webster University.
An active member of his church, Mr. Nunn’s recent community involvement includes membership in the St. Louis Chapter of the National Black MBA Association, membership in BDPA (Black Data Processing Associates), membership in the IEEE Computer Society, volunteer for the Okaw Valley Council of Boy Scouts of America, and membership of the United Way Children’s Services Panel.
Ian Cooley serves as Executive Director of Human Resources for INROADS, Inc. As Executive Director she is responsible for implementation of key organization effectiveness initiatives including talent management, organizational development, employee development and engagement, and communications. In addition, she is responsible for HR administrative systems, programs, and processes.
Mrs. Cooley is PHR certified, holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Murray State University in Organizational Communications and a Master of Arts degree in Management & Leadership from Webster University School of Business and Technology. As a Louisville, KY native, Ian Cooley brings a wealth of Human Resource Management knowledge gained from her work at the Kentucky Lottery Corporation, American Commercial Barge Lines and MSU. Mrs. Cooley and her husband currently reside in Birmingham, Alabama.
