Forest T. Harper
With more than 33 years of corporate and community experience, Forest is a proven leader dedicated to community health advocacy, leadership and talent pipeline development, and organizational outreach.

Prior to joining INROADS, Forest spent 28 years at Pfizer. He began his career at Pfizer as a sales representative eventually holding numerous leadership positions from Vice-Presidential positions in sales to his last role where he led Capability Development in Worldwide Public Affairs & Policy. Throughout his career, he successfully designed and implemented new sales product and account strategies, led a number of major organizational initiatives, and achieved substantial business results. Harper was also instrumental in spearheading community-based initiatives targeted to underinsured populations and was the architect of multiple public/private partnerships and alliances involved in over 25,000 community-based organizations, including the Pfizer Share Card and Community Health Advocacy.

In addition to his leadership roles at Pfizer, Harper served as the first President of the Pfizer African-American Leadership Network (PAALN) and a member of Pfizer’s Global Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Committee. He was also a pioneer in creating and launching undergraduate internship programs with schools such as Florida A&M University’s School of Business and Industry and Morgan State University’s C.A.P (Corporate Alliance Program) at the Earl Graves School of Business, his alma mater.

Forest began his career with Pfizer after serving for six years in the United States Army, 82nd Airborne Division, achieving the rank of Captain. He is a member of the Executive Leadership Council (ELC), an independent, non-profit corporation of senior African-American executives at Fortune 500 companies, as well as, the National Society of Pershing Rifles Alumni Association (NSPRAA). His leadership bandwidth spans from former Secretary and member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees for the National Arthritis Foundation to Board of Directors member for the National Council for the Aging (NCOA).

Harper holds a B.A. in Social Work from Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD and attended an Executive Leadership Training at Harvard Business School in Boston, MA. A native of Fort Pierce, Florida, he and his family currently reside in Atlanta, Georgia.

Michael T. Holmes

Michael serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for INROADS, Inc. Mr. Holmes leads and manages a comprehensive array of services and programs for INROADS to establish the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, staff and systems necessary to grow the organization, ensure financial strength and maintain operational efficiency.

Michael has a strong commitment to development and a deep understanding of the INROADS process. From 1985 to 2001, Mr. Holmes served INROADS as Executive Vice President, National Accounts Manager and Managing Director of Fairfield-Westchester Counties, gaining significant operations management experience and demonstrating significant leadership, stewardship, business and relationship development skills. The two regions he oversaw in his former role at INROADS — Northeast and New England – are, to date, two of INROADS’ most successful and critical.

In addition to his INROADS experience, Mr. Holmes’ professional background spans academia and the manufacturing, financial and professional services industries. Most recently, Mr. Holmes served as Director of Global Talent Acquisition for Terex Corporation, a diversified global manufacturer, where he was responsible for leveraging recruiting strategies creatively, utilizing social media, as well as trend and data analysis. Prior to that, he initiated strategies to increase diversity recruiting efforts as Director, Strategic Talent Management & Global Diversity for Pitney Bowes, and as Vice President, Diversity Sourcing Manager for Citi Group.

Mr. Holmes holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from College of the Holy Cross.

David Nunn

David Nunn, a veteran of INROADS is responsible for the strategic direction and management of the information technology resources of the organization.

A 1987 graduate of the University of Illinois, Mr. Nunn holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering where his emphasis was in Computational Structural Analysis. Additionally, Mr. Nunn also holds a Masters Degree in Information Technology Management from Webster University.

An active member of his church, Mr. Nunn’s recent community involvement includes membership in the St. Louis Chapter of the National Black MBA Association, membership in BDPA (Black Data Processing Associates), membership in the IEEE Computer Society, volunteer for the Okaw Valley Council of Boy Scouts of America, and membership of the United Way Children’s Services Panel.

Reba Simmons

As Chief Human Resources Officer; Mrs. Simmons is responsible for the design and implementation of key organization effectiveness initiatives including talent management, organizational development, employee development and engagement, student training processes, and communications.

Reba T. Simmons, a seasoned Human Resources executive with more than a decade of experience in senior level HR functions, has recently been appointed Chief Human Resource Officer at INROADS, the nation’s largest non-profit source of salaried corporate internships for top diversity talent.

Simmons brings to INROADS extensive experience in compensation and benefits programs, employee relations, training/development, and staffing/recruitment. As CHRO at INROADS, Simmons will develop and execute strategies and policies regarding organizational effectiveness, employee relations, staffing, performance and talent management, professional/intern development and rewards/recognition. She will also serve as a strategic partner within the executive leadership team on organizational challenges and will ensure delivery of cost effective and creative products and services to support the accomplishments of the INROADS mission, vision, and goals. Additionally, Simmons is responsible for HR administrative systems, programs, and processes.

Prior to joining INROADS, Simmons held several significant Human Resources leadership positions, including Vice-President Human Resources for the Regional Medical Center, Director Compensation and Benefits at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), and most recently, Executive Director Human Resources Management UAB Health System. In her last role as Executive Director, Human Resources Management, Simmons partnered with the senior leadership team in developing and implementing organizational strategies and programs and specifically led the implementation of an improved performance management system.

Simmons holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Masters of Arts degree from Birmingham Southern College. Simmons will reside in the Birmingham area where she will serve in her new role at INROADS.
