BCW SVP Rosa Nunez Appointed to INROADS National Board of Directors

ST. LOUIS, MO, MAY 14, 2019 — INROADS, Inc. today announced that Rosa Nunez, SVP and Senior Director of Diversity and Inclusion at BCW (Burson Cohn & Wolfe), has been named to its National Board of Directors. INROADS is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to developing and placing talented but underserved youth in various business and industry opportunities and preparing them for decades of corporate and community leadership. This board appointment will allow INROADS to leverage Nunez’s years of diversity and inclusion (D&I) experience to help develop and advance a new generation of young leaders.

“We are excited to bring Rosa’s leadership to our National Board of Directors,” said Forest T. Harper, Jr., INROADS President and CEO. “She has led some incredible efforts focused on diversity and inclusion, and we are grateful to have her creativity and wisdom to help develop powerful solutions for building a diverse by design future workforce.”

Across her career, Nunez has created a strong platform in the communications industry for diversity and inclusion. “When thinking about diversity and inclusion programs, it’s important to understand that recruitment, development and opportunity all work together to increase diverse talent in companies,” said Nunez. “INROADS has done a great job of recognizing this necessary combination, and I am honored to assist this organization as a board member and supporter.”

Nunez is responsible for developing and executing BCW’s U.S. Diversity and Inclusion strategy and aims to foster a workplace culture where people are empowered to bring their authentic selves to work and where inclusivity is celebrated. Her initiatives are centered around recruitment, learning and development, engagement, retention and external positioning.

Nunez started her D&I career at Accenture, where she had a long tenure as part of the organization’s Global Inclusion & Diversity team. In 2015, while at Omnicom Media Group, she designed, implemented and led a multi-year D&I strategy. Her work and personal efforts have been recognized across the industry.

Nunez will serve on INROADS’ National Board of Directors for a three-year board term, working with the board member team to advance the organization’s mission to support and develop talented youth across the nation. “I am truly humbled and very grateful for this opportunity. I can’t wait to get started and work hard to help maintain INROADS’ legacy of excellence and service,” Nunez added.
