Angela Hill Senior Producer for Enterprise Video at the Washington Post

INROADS Alumna Angela Hill recently served as the Awards Presenter during the INROADS Annual Benefit Gala on May 2, 2023.

She is a decorated journalist and investigative producer. As an investigative producer for the ABC News Network, she has produced stories for World News Tonight, Good Morning America, Nightline, 20/20, and ABCNews.com. She has won the George Polk Award, an Edward R. Murrow Award, as well as multiple Emmy and Peabody Awards.

Currently, Angela is the senior producer for enterprise video at the Washington Post, where she co-leads a team of video journalists who film, produce, and edit short and medium-length stories, mini-documentaries, and multimedia projects. She also contributes to reporting and production of breaking news stories and long-form investigative pieces.

Prior to The Post, she was a National Investigative Producer at the Scripps Washington Bureau and Newsy. There, she was the lead producer and reporter on a variety of investigations. She co-reported and co-produced a documentary that uncovered breakdowns in federal and tribal criminal justice systems on Indian reservations. The project won a Robert F. Kennedy Grand Prize Award. Angela also reported on women’s health issues and led an investigation into why the abortion pill was one of the FDA’s most restricted drugs.

On top of all that, Angela still finds time to be an adjunct lecturer at Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies, where she teaches news reporting and writing.

She is a graduate of Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and earned an MA in Broadcast Journalism from the City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate School of Journalism. Angela is a proud INROADS alumni and serves on our Alumni Association.
