Mark Wilson
As the son of immigrant parents, Mark Wilson had very few resources in the form of professional networks and mentorship when beginning his career in corporate America. INROADS played a pivotal role in shaping his journey, providing training on crucial skills such as effective interviewing, professional dressing, and resume enhancement.
Most importantly, Mark learned he had to put into the program as much as he wanted to get out of it. Following a rewarding 25-year corporate career, he has transitioned into entrepreneurship, launching his own line of sailing products in retirement. Latinos exhibit the highest rate of entrepreneurship in the U.S., a trend Mark is proud to be part of.
His INROADS experience not only laid the foundation for his corporate success but also inspired a commitment to giving back to the community. He also dedicates substantial time to the Saint Francis Center of Los Angeles, extending aid to homeless and low-income families. Advocating for education and poverty alleviation has always been a passion of his.
