MORE THAN 1,000 COLLEGE LINKS SCHOLARS GATHERED ACROSS THE COUNTRY FOR THE 2024 NATIONAL CAREER ACADEMY
Throughout the month of June, more than 1,000 INROADS College Links Scholars gathered for the 2024 INROADS National Career Academy (NCA) in 18 cities nationwide. This transformative conference equips high school students with essential skills for success in college, their careers, and beyond.
During a dynamic day of hands-on workshops, presentations, networking and entertainment in their local cities, scholars learned about topics including leadership, innovation, and industry-specific insights with an emphasis on STEM.

STEM ACTIVITIES
During NCA, students tackled real-world challenges through hands-on STEM
activities, enhancing their problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
INSPIRATION FROM JUSTIN JONES-FOSU
Students heard from highly sought-after motivational speaker and INROADS Alumnus Justin Jones-Fosu. The author, founder and CEO of Work. Meaningful. and full-time family man who is passionate about helping organizations and individuals take ownership of their mindset, purpose, and performance to achieve amazing results.
PITCH COMPETITIONS
College Links scholars honed their problem-solving and communication skills via pitch competitions. Students developed business ideas and pitched them in front of a panel of judges. Ideas included solutions that would benefit the students’ local communities.
NETWORKING
INROADS College Links scholars expanded their networks by interacting with peers, alumni, and business professionals
AWARDS CEREMONY
Outstanding College Links Scholars were recognized for their leadership, personal growth, community impact, and accomplishments.
COLLEGE MAJORS
Scholars explored various academic majors and the potential careers associated with them. During the fair, representatives from universities and companies provided information about specific fields of study, including the coursework involved, skills developed, and career paths that graduates can pursue.
