Published January 2026With more than eight years of experience delivering technical solutions to complex systems, Shan’tell Boyce has built a career defined by adaptability and forward thinking. Today, she serves as a Corporate Data Compliance Analyst at IST Management, where she strengthens operational efficiency and compliance practices across the organization.
Shan’tell’s journey began at Claflin University, where she studied Management Information Science and embraced leadership as Class Secretary for three years and as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. From 2001 to 2004, she completed her INROADS internship at Tyco Kendall Healthcare, an experience that gave her the confidence to take risks and embrace challenges. “My internship manager pushed me to try new things and explained how being open would come to play once I entered the workforce,” she recalls.
That mindset carried Shan’tell into a diverse career spanning education, financial services, and technology. At Georgia State University, she guided more than 500 students as a Senior Financial Aid Counselor. Later, at Georgia Tech, she streamlined workflows as a Business Analyst, boosting efficiency by 65% while supporting over 300 users daily. In her current role at IST Management, she has led process improvements that reduced data storage needs and increased efficiency by 40%, while monitoring more than 400 compliance cases.
Beyond her corporate career, Shan’tell has invested in education and community impact. She worked with Fulton County Schools as an Instructional Support Professional, customizing curriculum and mentoring students, and has volunteered for more than 14 years with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, as a project coordinator.
When asked what advice she would give to the next generation of leaders, Shan’tell is clear: “Do not allow ‘no’ to be the final answer. Emotional intelligence goes a long way in building meaningful professional relationships.”
Her path demonstrates how early guidance from INROADS, combined with a commitment to growth and service, can drive meaningful impact across industries.
