Paving a Path to Leadership in the Food Industry

Published August 2025

When Victoria Krabill first discovered INROADS, she was a freshman at Linfield University, sitting in her college dorm room, uncertain about how she would secure a summer job or fund her education. As the first in her family to attend college, she didn’t have a built-in network or a roadmap for navigating corporate America. But what she did have was initiative, and that search led her to INROADS.

“I didn’t have a path to follow in regards to navigating corporate America,” Victoria reflects. “INROADS literally became my inroad—my path to a career.”

Victoria spent three impactful years in the INROADS Internship Program, interning with Daymon Worldwide Marketing each summer. That experience not only shaped her professionally but opened the door to a thriving career in the food industry. Upon graduation, she accepted a full-time role with Daymon, turning her internship into a launchpad.

“I owe the jumpstart to my career in the food industry to my INROADS experience,” she shares. “INROADS provided the training and networking I needed—I am forever grateful.”

Victoria continues to make her mark in the food industry today, and remains focused on contributing meaningfully to her industry.

Victoria’s advice to the next generation of INROADS interns is grounded in wisdom and experience: “Always be on time, engaged, kind, and prepared. You never know who you will meet and work with in the future. Put your best foot forward always! Always be actively learning and engaging with your community—lead with positivity and intent.”
