Martha Vargas comes from a long line of courageous women who believed in themselves and were not afraid to go against the grain. Because of their bravery, Martha was the first college graduate in her family. Her family’s sacrifices enabled her to get an education, travel to every continent, and speak several languages. They opened doors to new opportunities, one of which was becoming an INROADS intern.

INROADS was instrumental in helping Martha gain the most out of her internship experience, guiding her through the interview process and equipping her with the skills needed for success—including effective interviewing techniques, knowing what to wear, and professional conduct. This foundation not only propelled her success in the corporate realm but also fueled her passion for community leadership.

After her corporate career, she transitioned to the nonprofit Spark Ventures, where she has utilized the skills honed in the business world to serve her community. Her journey, including the life-changing opportunity as an INROADS intern, was driven by a commitment to making a positive impact globally. Joining the Spark Ventures team allows her to contribute to changing the world, one child, and one-woman entrepreneur at a time. This venture fills her heart with joy.
