At a time of rampant discrimination, INROADS was born out of the Civil Rights movement to prepare underrepresented youth for corporate careers through leadership development training and paid internships. Fifty years later, INROADS has touched many lives; however, the events of 2020 have illuminated the numerous socioeconomic disparities still present and disproportionately affecting people of color. Challenging the disparities of equity and opportunity is the very reason INROADS was created, and why it still exists today.
