Beverly (Bev) Porter is the Chief Programs Officer at INROADS, responsible for leading and overseeing a comprehensive array of services and programs designed to improve educational and career outcomes for students and entry to mid-level professionals across the nation.
Bev Porter has over 25 years of experience in supply chain operations, human resources, project management, and career services. She is an accomplished transformational leader with demonstrated mastery in building and leading teams to do the unimaginable. Prior to joining INROADS as the Chief Programs Officer, Bev served as the Director of the Graduate Career Center at NC State University, Poole College of Management, where she restructured the underperforming, disenfranchised Career Center into a self-directed, high-performing team, consistently delighting stakeholders. Bev transformed the tarnished MBA brand into one recognized globally and highly ranked as one of the Nation’s top MBA programs.
Bev is guided by four principles: laugh a lot, make a difference, have no regrets, and be content in whatever state she is in.
Bev earned a B.A. in Materials and Logistics Management from Michigan State University and a Master of Education in Counseling from North Carolina State University. She is certified as a life coach, marriage coach, executive coach, emotional intelligence coach, and Leadership Coach for Organizational Performance from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Accredited Program and in pursuit of her ICF Associate Certified Coach credential.
