INROADS Scholarship for Hispanic/Latino students

INROADS is excited to invite you to apply to the 4th VISIONES 100 Leadership Scholarship Program.  This is a vital component of the INROADS National Hispanic Initiative, awarded during the National Hispanic Heritage Celebration.

The VISIONES 100 – INROADS Latino Leadership Scholarship is a competitive scholarship that will reward students of Hispanic/Latino ethnicity for community and social impact. The winners should be part of an INROADS internship, College Links cohort or be a High School student in the State of Georgia; of Latino ethnicity and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

The winners will each receive between $1,000 and $2,500 scholarships. Scholarships are non-renewable and non-transferrable.

Eligibility Criteria for College Applicants:

  • Be of Latino/Hispanic ethnicity.
  • Scholarships are available to all INROADS interns who complete an internship during Summer 2020.
  • All classifications are encouraged to apply.
  • Interns must have a 3.0 or higher GPA and meet all INROADS requirements.
  • All applicants must meet the scholarship criteria and must submit responses to three essay questions.

Eligibility Criteria for High School Applicants:

  • Be of Latino/Hispanic ethnicity.
  • Scholarships are available to INROADS College Links students.
  • Scholarships are also available to any High School student in the state of Georgia.
  • All classifications are encouraged to apply.
  • High School students must have a 3.0 or higher GPA and be recommended by mentor, school or advisor.
  • All applicants must meet the scholarship criteria and must submit responses to three essay questions.

Scholarship recipients will be notified and invited to attend the Virtual VISIONES event on September 18, 2020.  

Deadline and Application Procedures: Applications must be submitted no later than 11:59 PM ESTFriday, August 21, 2020.
